Welcome

Welcome to Political Affairs

Political Affairs is the new home on Blessed Records for political news, public statements and official-event videos. It sits beside Entertainment News and Celebrity Hut but is kept separate, so readers who come for music never have to wade through politics, and readers who want politics can find it in one place.

How we run it

  • We describe what a video or document actually shows, and we say clearly when we cannot confirm something.
  • Opinions are labelled as opinions and credited to the person who gave them.
  • We do not support or oppose any party or candidate, and we do not present rumours as facts.
  • We link to official sources where we can, and we correct mistakes quickly.
  • Want a story covered or a correction made? Send it through our Contact page.

Nicki Minaj Joins President Trump on Stage at a Michigan Rally: What the Clips Show

By Blessed Records Exclusive Entertainment · Published 26 October 2026

At a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, on Sunday 25 October 2026, rapper Nicki Minaj appeared on stage with President Donald Trump. According to the New York Post’s description of its video, the President made a remark about her appearance during the event, and she then went up on stage and led the crowd in a chant of support for him. A separate clip from the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), dated 25 October, carries a line from Minaj in its title, saying she is honoured to be working with the President.

What we can and cannot say

Below we show three clips and describe what each publisher says about its video. A short clip is never the whole event, and we cannot confirm every detail of a long rally. People will react to the President’s remark in different ways, and we present the clips so that readers can watch and judge for themselves.

Why this is on our site

Music and politics often meet, and many of our readers follow both. When a well-known artist takes part in a political event, it becomes news for entertainment fans and for people who follow elections. Political Affairs is where we keep that kind of story, separate from our music pages.

RSBN: Nicki Minaj Says She Is Honoured to Be Working With the President

By Blessed Records Exclusive Entertainment · Published 26 October 2026

The Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) published this clip on 25 October 2026, the day of the rally. Its title quotes Minaj saying she is honoured to be working with the President. RSBN describes its mission as giving viewers live and unedited coverage of events such as Trump rallies.

Reading the story

Because RSBN focuses on rally coverage, it is a useful source for seeing events as they happened. As with every outlet, it helps to compare it with other reports and to remember that a title shows only one line from a longer speech.

Guide

How to Read Political Videos Wisely

By Blessed Records Exclusive Entertainment · Published 26 October 2026

Political clips travel fast, and a short video can leave a very different impression from the full event. A few habits help you stay informed without being misled.

  • Check the source. Who published the video, and what do they say about themselves?
  • Look for the full version. A clip may leave out what came before or after.
  • Compare more than one outlet. Different outlets stress different parts of the same event.
  • Separate facts from opinions. A person’s remark is a fact about what was said, while whether it was right or wrong is an opinion.
  • Pause before sharing. If a headline makes you angry, check it before you pass it on.

We follow the same rules on this page. If you spot a mistake, tell us through our Contact page and we will correct it quickly.

President Trump and FBI Director Kash Patel at a Roundtable on Scam Security

By Blessed Records Exclusive Entertainment · Published 24 October 2026

A video making the rounds online shows President Donald J. Trump seated beside FBI Director Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth at a long table at an official event. The clip is described as a discussion on scam security, a topic that touches millions of ordinary people, including many of our readers in Nigeria and across Africa. Watch it below, then read what the video shows and how to protect yourself.

Video: official event footage as supplied. All rights belong to the owners. Shared here for news and information.

What the video shows

  • Three men are seated at a long table covered in a cream cloth, with the Seal of the President of the United States placed on the table in front of the President.
  • Name cards identify Kash Patel, from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Pete Hegseth.
  • Rows of American flags and the presidential flag stand behind the table.
  • An audience sits in front of the stage, including at least one guest in a cowboy hat.
  • The speakers take turns talking into table microphones, in the style of a roundtable.

We have kept this summary to what can be seen in the video. We have not independently checked every statement made in the clip, so please treat the speakers’ remarks as their own words and check official government channels for transcripts and details.

Why scam security matters to everyone

Scams are one of the fastest-growing kinds of crime because they can reach people through a phone or a screen from anywhere in the world. They do not only target the careless. Fraudsters work on trust, fear and urgency, and they are good at it. Common types include romance scams, fake investment schemes, phishing messages that copy a bank or a delivery company, advance-fee offers that ask you to pay first and get paid later, and impersonators who pretend to be officials, relatives or customer-care staff.

Practical ways to protect yourself

  • Slow down. Scammers push you to act now. A real bank, officer or employer will give you time to check.
  • Never share your PIN, one-time password, BVN or card details with anyone, even someone who sounds official.
  • Verify by another route. Hang up and call the organisation on the number printed on your card or official website.
  • Be wary of payment demands in gift cards, crypto or transfers to personal accounts.
  • Check the sender. Look closely at web addresses, email domains and phone numbers, because small spelling changes are a common trick.
  • Talk to someone you trust before sending money to a person you have only met online.
  • Use strong, different passwords and switch on two-step login for your email and bank apps.

Where to report a scam

In the United States, reports can be made to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov and to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov. In Nigeria, you can contact your bank straight away, then report to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission or the Nigeria Police Force. Acting quickly can improve the chance of stopping a transfer.

A note for artists and creators

Musicians and online business owners are frequent targets of fake booking offers, fake sponsorship deals and fake distribution “fees”. Before you pay anyone to promote or book you, ask for a contract, check their history, and read our guides on staying safe online. Our Entertainment News page also carries updates for the music community.
